In 2010, the first fractional home ownership opportunities at Predator Ridge were launched through a pre-sale initiative. The Tips fractional ownership homes, are an enclave of luxurious townhomes located near the village centre and directly above the tee boxes of hole #2 of the award-winning Ridge course.
Construction on this new project started in December 2011 and the 4 townhomes were opened on July 20, 2012. The neighbourhood plan allows for an additional 4 townhomes to be built within the neighbourhood.
The fractional ownership concept was designed to provide owners with a cost-effective means to get into the vacation property market, with low capital costs and all of the perks of owning a vacation home and the Okanagan lifestyle.

If within 4 years of the completion date on the purchase of your home at The Tips you decide that you would prefer full real estate ownership at the resort, we will apply the original purchase price of your Tips home, towards the purchase of a new Wesbild Home at Predator Ridge. FRACTIONAL OWNERSHIP REAL ESTATE VS TIME SHARES
Each home is co-owned by 12 owners and each of the owners owns an undivided one- twelfth (1/12th) interest in the strata lot. Ownership is evidenced by a BC Land Title in the purchaser’s name. The Tips is titled real estate, which means each owner owns a registered fee simple real estate interest in the property. The owner of each interest is able to sell, transfer or gift their interest as they could with traditional real estate.
How is ‘fractional ownership’ different from traditional timeshare?
With fractional ownership, you own a one (1) undivided 1/12 interest in the property registered in the BC Land Titles Office. With a timeshare, you do not own Title. You are buying time and a right to use a property or properties, i.e.: some timeshares offer members the option to buy points and redeem them for use at one of the properties in the timeshare network.

THE START OF GREEN CONSTRUCTION AT PREDATOR RIDGE
As with all of the projects the team at Wesbild Homes takes on, we are proud to build homes that are innovative and built to the highest standards. At The Tips, we incorporated an innovative product called “Insulated Concrete Forms” or ICF into the foundation which provides these homes with increased liveability and green benefits.
This was the first project at Predator Ridge that we started to incorporate green construction elements into. ICF is a system of formwork for concrete that stays in place as permanent building insulation for energy-efficient, cast-in-place, reinforced concrete walls, floors, and roofs.
